Tehdas Teatteri is an artist led and focused professional theatre. We aim to provide a creative, flexible and well functioning work environment for all artists working here.

TERMS OF PRODUCTION FOR OWN AND CO-PRODUCTIONS

For chosen performances, Tehdas Teatteri offers:

• Rehearsal and performance space (approx. 9-16 performances / rehearsal period in the space of performance 3-4 weeks + possibility to use other rehearsal spaces when agreed in advance)
• Stage tech and technical support
• Marketing and production
• Ticket sale service
• Foyer services for the performances (ticket sales & bar staff)
• Monetary support: 3000€ for production costs:/ 5000€ for working + 85% of ticket sales. (Same sums apply if there are no radical changes to the general funding for 2024)
• if needed there is a possibility to sleep at the theatre without any cost (sleeping facilities pretty modest). There is a small apartment that can be rented by working groups at own cost (booking should be done well in advance)

From chosen performances, Tehdas Teatteri requires:

• Professionalism and ability to implement the performance as agreed, according the schedule and the terms of production.
• Tehdas Teatteri gives the production some monetary support. If needed, the working group is responsible for acquiring rest of the funding from other sources. (grants etc.)
• The working group must agree to follow Tehdas Teatteri’s equality and non-discrimination plan
• If the working group needs more rehearsal time that agreed with the theatre, the space must be rented at own cost.
  The working group is responsible for marketing the performance on their own behalf (own producer is preferable)
• The working group must provide materials for Tehdas Teatteri’s marketing (good quality performance and press photos, marketing texts, content for social media etc. If needed, theatre is happy to help finding a suitable photographer/graphic designer)

TERMS OF PRODUCTION FOR VISITING PERFROMANCES

For chosen visiting performances Tehdas Teatteri offers

• Performance space
• Stage tech and technical support
• Marketing and production
• Ticket sale service
• Foyer services for the performances (ticket sales & bar staff)
• 85% of the ticket sales
• Travel costs (within Finland)
• if needed there is a possibility to sleep at the theatre without any cost (sleeping facilities pretty modest). There is a small apartment that can be rented by working groups at own cost (booking should be done well in advance)

From chosen visiting performances, Tehdas Teatteri requires:
